Create a Slack message action

An automatic Slack message is created when the conditions of a rule are triggered.

Prerequisites:
  1. Click Create An Action to add an action to occur when the condition is met.
  2. In the Action Type list, select Create Slack Message.
  3. Depending on the channels added in Connect Slack to TXM, select a channel in the Channel list.
  4. Add any additional messages to the Message field.
  5. In the Message field, click Insert Variable to pipe in a data source variable or an organizational hierarchy variable.
  6. Click Save.
  7. When you are ready to enable the rule, click Draft > Enable Now.
  8. Optional: To disable an enabled rule, click Enabled > Disabled.
