Limit rule actions

Set limits in the rules engine to prevent surveys being sent too many times.

Note: The Event Driven Survey toggle will override community engagement rules in Community.
  • Activate the limit rule actions toggle.
    1. Open the Actions app.
    2. In the navigation bar, click Product Settings > Limit Rule Actions.
    3. Click the toggle next to Event Driven Survey and activate the limit.
    4. Indicate a period of time the platform will wait before it sends out another event-driven survey.
      Note: The default setting is 3 months.
    5. Click Save.
    6. A confirmation dialog appears, click Confirm to authorize the system to track when event-based surveys are being sent.
  • Deactivate the limit rule actions toggle.
    1. Open the Actions app.
    2. In the navigation bar, click Product Settings > Limit Rule Actions.
    3. Click the toggle next to Event Driven Survey and deactivate the limit.
    4. Click Save.
    5. A confirmation dialog appears, click Confirm to authorize the system to always send an event-based survey to the recipient.
      Note: This can cause multiple event-based surveys to be sent to the same person in a short period of time.
